“The Good Friday Story” a Musical Drama in Escondido 4/10
For the fifteenth year, Rev. Dr. Roby Warren of The Celebration Center presents “The Good Friday Story” on Friday, April 10. This Musical Drama is narrated and performed by some of the New Thought Movement's finest vocalists including, Angel Travis and Jamie Lula from Agape, Ric Henry and Rev. Dr. Roby Warren. It features musical selections from “Jesus Christ Superstar,” “Godspell,” and “Les Miserables.”
“The Good Friday Story” personalizes the power of the passion of Christ in a unique way” explains Rev. Warren “the story told in this manner, makes the mysticism and symbolism of the last days of Jesus into a transforming experience for the audience. The Healing Arts of Emei Qigong with Master Fu We Zhong 4/11-14
Learn a simple, time-tested method for improving your physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing at this 4 day Level I training event. Grandmaster Fu Wei Zhong will teach this seminar assisted by selected teachers in training. The first 2 days of the Level I training focus on self-healing methods; techniques for assisting others are taught the second 2 days, along with an introduction to the philosophy of Emei Qigong,.

Philosophical Library 46 th Annual Open House 4/25 in Escondido
The Philosophical Library in Escondido was founded in 1963 as a place to find our own truth. The annual open house on April 25, 1-6pm features speakers including Iridologist Jon Jensen, (grandson of Dr. Bernard Jensen) and astrologer Sue Simmons, who will give updates on 2009.
Join in a Baric Circle at 5pm, when all are invited to share stories, poems and songs. The Open House provides an excellent opportunity to browse the Library's collection of over 10,000 spiritual and metaphysical books and DVDs, ask questions and become a member. Rummage Sale to Benefit Waldorf School in SD 4/25
The Waldorf School of San Diego, a private nonprofit school located in City Heights, is having a huge Rummage Sale on Saturday, April 25 from 7am-1pm. Items for sale include children's clothing and books, to furniture and household items – everything but the kitchen sink! Proceeds will go toward operating expenses of the school and will benefit over 275 children.
