The Ancient Drape of the Goddess

Dr. Wayne Dyer Brings Power of Intention to San Diego

How can this happen? Here is someone who lived in an orphanage until he was ten years old, was told by his English teacher that he would never be able to write anything with his terrible handwriting yet he has sold literally tens of millions of books? If there is a God in heaven, let that English teacher read this interview! Whoa, that might sound a little like revenge, which is the furthest thing from Dr. Wayne Dyer's personality. When this amazing father, writer, and profound thinker walks onto the stage at the San Diego Convention Center in January, the audience is in for more than a treat, they are in for a gourmet feast of wisdom from the mind of a man who, in my opinion, channels the sages, the saints, and the saviors in nearly every breath. .

Loving God

The best of the Ten Commandments is the following: You should love the Lord God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind and with all your strength. You should love God with a pure heart.

Unfortunately it is human nature that we give our heart to money, pleasure and power. None of the worldly things, although they are gifts from God, can give you permanent joy. Permanent joy comes from loving God. When you love God, He will give you everything.

Comments on The Election from Thich Nat Hahn and others

Thich Nhat Hanh . . .

For those of you that voted for Kerry, we must look deeply to see the Kerry elements in Bush. In this long and difficult campaign, Bush has learned many things from Kerry and those who voted for him. We have to see that they inter-are. If there had been no election, Bush wouldn't have questioned his positions or his approach. He would have been able to assume that his way is best. But he almost lost the election, and he is aware that at least half of the American people don't believe in him. Now, because he almost lost, he is more humble and must realize that if he doesn't listen to the other half of the American people, there will be a big disturbance in the country. So we have to see that now all of us are in him.

Dealing with Anxiety

Most of us experience a certain amount of anxiety because it is a normal part of living. For millions of Americans, however, anxieties are persistent and overwhelming, can interfere with daily life, and can affect your good health.

Do you experience any of the following: Fatigue, fluctuations in mood, sleeping difficulties, decreased concentration, sexual problems, indigestion, overeating, dry mouth, dizziness, a rapid or irregular heart rate, increased rate of respiration, diarrhea, frequent need to urinate, trembling, lump in throat, frozen smile, blushing and profuse sweating, neck aches, preoccupation with illness, fear of embarrassment or rejection, worrying over details, fear of being ugly or fat, or nightmares?
