What's New . . .
The Whole Leaf is Open for Business
Ever thought of tea as a way of life? If this were a mainstream magazine that would be an absurd question. But TLC readers are a different group, and... well, some of us love our whole leaf green teas so much we would actually reply with a resounding “Yes!”
And after a visit to The Whole Leaf, San Diego's new tea store situated just a block from the water in Ocean Beach, more of us may open to using the tea ceremony as a tool for centering our lives.
The Whole Leaf specializes in high-quality, certified organic and sustainably grown whole-leaf teas. They also offer a unique line of Yixing clay teapots, tea sets, and tools for making tea. The tea is served in the traditional Gong Fu style popular throughout China and other parts of Asia for the last 500 years.
Quality whole leaf tea provides many health benefits, and incorporating the ritual of setting aside a few minutes for rest and enjoyment of a fine cup of tea will put you in touch with the moment. Stop in and find out what a difference a cup of whole leaf tea can make in your life.
Located at 4966 Santa Monica Avenue, Suite C, in Ocean Beach, The Whole Leaf is open Tuesday through Sunday from 2 to 10pm. Private tea ceremonies are available. 619/226-2853.
