Co-Ed Drumming Circle Feb.3
On February 3 beginning at Noon, following the 10am Sunday Celebration, VISION, a Center for Spiritual Living, will be hosting the First Co-Ed Drumming Circle in San Diego. Elisa Kisselburg began a female drumming circle nine years ago to support the healing of her sister who was diagnosed with breast cancer. Out of that desire, the San Diego Woman's Drumming Circle was born; and now, Elisa and VISION have helped to launch this blending of male and female energies. This unique Co-Ed Drumming Circle celebrates Japanese, Middle Eastern and African traditions. Jim Self and “Mastering Alchemy” Returns to San Diego 2/7 & 2/15-17

Dr. Joseph Costa Lectures Feb. 8
The World Healer Institute presents a lecture by Joseph Costa, PhD. on February 8, at the Sheraton La Jolla Hotel. This is the first in a series of lectures on The Evolution of Consciousness to bring forth an understanding of the natural evolution of consciousness on the planet since it first formed. James Twyman at Seaside Feb. 8
Entertainer, author and Peace Troubadour James Twyman will be at Seaside Center for Spiritual Living this month to kick off the 64 days celebration of The Season for NonViolence. Seaside will feature speakers, music, workshops, cinema and more during this period. A screening from the Spiritual Cinema film Project Everlasting will be Friday, Feb. 1, at 7pm. The film is about America's greatest marriages.

Pacific College Holds Chinese New Year Celebration on Feb.9
In celebration of Chinese New Year, Pacific College San Diego will host a free event for the public on Saturday, February 9 from 10am-3pm. Free acupuncture and massage treatments will be offered from 10am-1pm. There will be 15-minute acupuncture treatments targeted for smoking cessation and stress reduction, as well as 10-minute tui na massages. This event will also include Tai Ji and Qi Gong demonstrations, an informational lecture titled, “A Discussion of Integrative Medicine and Its Profession” and lectures featuring women's health and pediatrics.

San Diego VISION Center Celebrates 1st Anniversary Feb. 10
VISION, a Center for Spiritual Living, celebrates its First Anniversary on February 10 beginning at 10am. Under the leadership of Rev. Patti Paris, VISION is dedicated to “Transforming Lives Through Practical Spirituality” by using the principles of the Science of Mind philosophy as taught by Ernest Holmes beginning in 1919. This teaching acknowledges the “common threads of truth” that are central to all faiths and celebrates the oneness of the human race and its true, divine nature.
In its first years, VISION has become famous in San Diego for its Music Ministry. At the First Anniversary festivities, Andy Anderson, who is well known in the California music scene will perform.
Affectionately known as “Rev. Mom” by her family, Rev. Patti is the founding minister of this growing spiritual center. The highlight of this event will be the “Official” installation of Rev.
