Eckhart Tolle at Learning Annex Event in San Diego 3/15: Most West Coast Annex Classes Suspended

As we go to press no other San Diego events are currently scheduled. They are, however, currently planning on offering online courses beginning in September. The Learning Annex currently has no other classes scheduled in California.
Although Rainy's Mystics Books and Gifts store in San Marcos has closed, Rainy's Community Spiritualists Church and its School of Mystics has a new home. Rev. Rainy has moved her church and school inside Just For Your Health Massage Therapy Day Spa, 1001 West San Marcos Blvd., Suite 170, San Marcos and now Rev. Rainy will be available for private readings.
A Healing Service is held the 1st Sunday at 1pm followed by a Worship Service at 1:30pm. Meditation Services are held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays at 7pm. The CSC Basic Spirit Communications class is graduating on March 19th and is offering complimentary readings to the general public. Commencement Exercises begin at 7pm. Lux Art Institute, which opened in November 2007, is slated to be the first “green” museum in California and is a one-of-a-kind institution that lets visitors not only see art, but “see art happen”. Liberating Jesus! Opened in Santa Monica 2/29
Liberating Jesus! a one-man play written and performed by author/mystic Leonard Jacobson, will be presented weekends, from February 29 through April 6 at the Edgemar Center for the Arts, 2437 Main Street in Santa Monica. Young Women's Spirit of Leadership Conference 3/1
San Diego-based Jenna Druck Foundation will host its 11 th Annual Young Women's Spirit of Leadership Conference on Saturday, March 1 at Liberty Station from 7am to 4pm. Over 500 girls from area high schools were selected to attend. The event begins with a Community Service Project and a keynote speech by former model Audrey Brashich and her co-presenter, teen-coach, Courtney Macavinta.
The conference includes a Mentor Luncheon, workshops, dance performance, live music and ice-cream celebration. The theme is about how girls can live their dream and use their voice to make a positive difference in their school, family, friendships and community.

Eckhart Tolle Book Study Group in La Mesa Starts 3/1
Starting on Saturday, March 1, 2008 from 10am-12 noon, VISION, a Center for Spiritual Living, is holding a six week Book Study Group on Eckhart Tolle's latest book, A New Earth-Awakening to Your Life's Purpose which has been chosen as an Oprah Book Club best pick. The book study will be facilitated by licensed practitioner Donna Osborne and incorporates the online class held by Eckhart Tolle and Oprah beginning on Monday, March 3rd.

Taize is a sacred, candlelit, multi-faith service through prayer...silent, spoken, sung and written. Taize began in 1940 with Brother Roger to welcome Jews fleeing the Nazi persecution. The service has a quiet, meditative quality with chants made up of just a few simple words.

Japanese Art, Culture and Tradition in SD 3/22-23
Japanese Brush Painting art exhibition (known as Sumi-e) will be displayed in Balboa Park.
