Da Vinci Code Workshop
Micael Ledwith, author of The Hamburger Universe and participant in What the Bleep do We Know? , is holding a workshop on The Da Vinci Code on June 2 and 3.
Dr. Miceal Ledwith, a native of County Wexford, Ireland, was ordained a Catholic priest in 1967 after studies in Arts, Philosophy and Theology. After completing doctoral studies in he was appointed a Lecturer in Theology at the Pontifical University, Maynooth, in 1971, and became a Professor there in 1976.
From 1980–1997 he served three terms as a Member of the International Theological Commission, a small group of theologians who advise on theological matters referred to them by the Pope. His research interests had always been in the fundamental areas of theology, summed up by the four great questions, as he calls them: Who are we; where did we come from; what should we do; and where are we going?
Inspired by Ramtha's teachings, his researches have involved the painful separation of time-conditioned modes of thought and views of how reality is, from fundamental beliefs about God and human destiny. A series of DVDs is now in production with JZ Knight as Director, which sets out the conclusions of his research so far. This series will chart a new course for human hopes and aspirations in relation to the fundamental questions that perplex everyone, and will serve as an introduction to some of the ideas more extensively explored in his forthcoming book Forbidden Truth .
The workshop will be held at Midtown Community for Spiritual Living located at 3858 Front Street in San Diego. For reservations and information call 858-274-2965.

Workshop in San Diego
for Children Living in Two Homes
Kids' Turn provides psycho-educational workshops for children whose parents are engaged in a divorce or custody dispute. Most of the families who complete our program are “high-conflict”families; 70% are court-ordered to attend. Kids' Turn is a proven program of prevention and intervention that focuses on the children's well-being.
Each year, nearly 25,000 San Diego children experience this family crisis. A non-profit organization, the only one of its kind in Southern California, Kids' Turn provides a structured six-week workshop for the whole family. The emphasis is on improving communication among all members of the family, helping parents become cooperative and giving children a safe place to express their thoughts and feelings about the divorce.
E-mail Shari Delisle, Ph.D., executive Director at kidsturnsd@sbcglobal.net for more information.

Sunrise Powerlink
The Sunrise Powerlink (SPL) Project by SDG&E has seen much controversy in the few short months the public has become aware of the project. San Diego Gas and Electric Web site states the Sunrise Powerlink is a new “energy superhighway” between San Diego and the Imperial Valley that will add another vital link to the state's energy grid and ensure a safe and reliable supply of energy for the region, and that it will improve energy reliability, provide access to clean, renewable energy, reduce energy costs, and increase energy access.
SDG&E is hosting open houses to gather input from community leaders before selecting the proposed and alternate routes and say they will complete a full environmental assessment. This is good because most of the public controversy has been around the project route and the damage it might cause to the environment and the people in the communities where the powerlines reach.
“The local chapter of the Sierra Club recently decided to oppose the Sunrise Powerlink, saying that after a lengthy review it decided the benefit derived from new power lines is outweighed by the ‘considerable environmental damage' that would result,” said Sierra Club spokeswoman Kelly Fuller.
