• Sant Rajinder Singh Ji MaharajFocusing Our Attention

“Let us find time each day to meditate. Then, like the steady rain, drop by drop, bit by bit, we will gradually enter the world of Light.”

All day long our attention, the outer expression of our soul, is going out into the world through our five senses of sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. Through Jyoti and Shabd meditation, we withdraw our attention from the outer world and focus it at the seat of the soul, the third eye, located between and behind the two eyebrows.

As we learn the art of Jyoti and Shabd meditation, we can collect our attention at the third eye and come into contact with the Light and Sound of God which is within each and every one of us. Through this divine connection, we can embark on the inner spiritual journey. The beauty of meditation is that the joy found when we focus within remains with us even after we resume our daily activities.

Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj says it is our birthright to know God. He travels the globe giving talks, holding meditation seminars and offering initiation instruction into meditation on the inner Light and Sound, all free of charge. He is a constant support amid the ups and downs of life and a guide and companion on the spiritual journey.

A true spiritual Master seeks nothing for himself. Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj lives on his own earnings and accepts no donations. His only wish is to help connect people with their true essence as soul.

This is why over a million people around the world follow the teachings of Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj, and the number of spiritual seekers continues to grow. After receiving an inner contact, people are encouraged to meditate, lead an ethical life, and focus on the goal of returning to their Source, God. To follow the Path, we do not have to leave our religions to enjoy the benefits of meditation. These practices lead to the transcendent experience at the heart of every religion. Nor do we abandon our families or professions. Shabd meditation is not an escapist path of self-denial- it is dynamic and life affirming. Beholding God’s Light in ourselves, we begin to see the same Light in others. We begin to see everyone as members of the One family of God.

To experience our soul we need a catalyst. The Living Master is the catalyst. When we come into contact with this love by being in the presence of a living Master – we experience for ourselves a little spark of the Divine, and the flame is ignited!
