There you have it — everything you’ve always wanted to know about how to bring into this reality the dream you’ve been nurturing for so long. Not to worry — you don’t have to be a math ace to put this formula to work. In fact, I’m pretty sure you’re already using it. The premise of this book is that once you understand the formula for creating, you’ll be able to apply it more deliberately and more successfully to create the life you desire and deserve.
The Creating Formula is the second book by Barbara Joye and her angelic team, the first having been The Light Won. Insisting that she had no intention of writing a book like this, Joye credits her angelic “co-authors,” Mike, Luc and Scorpio, for communicating the formula and attendant information to her. (FYI – Luc, she tells us, is none other than Lucifer, who “has been acting in the Archangel role for many, many centuries now”; the “Game of Duality,” she says, ended long ago, and continues only in the mind of humanity, for the convenience of having a “bad guy” to blame for our trespasses.)
The book opens with an explanation of the function of the angels, and the injunction to “Listen up!” We are to take seriously the information they impart, and learn to replace the “Game of Duality” with the “Dance of Relationship” the dance that honors all humans as the creative angelic beings we truly are, though we forget that when we are embodied here.
We are introduced to Abundance, a soul between lives who decides she wants to “iterate” (reincarnate) on Earth. The angels set up the perfect Soul Team for her, a team of other souls who wish to volunteer to guide her in applying the Universal Laws in her new life. But this is done not just for Abundance; the stage is being set, a template created, “for the shifting of all souls in earth-based iterations.
The book then embarks on some 250 pages of explaining the “how to” of applying the formula (above) in combination with the Law of Attraction and other Universal Laws to create the life we came here to live. The writing is clear and concise, the layout easy on the eye and pleasant to the soul, offering myriad opportunities to reflect on our own lives and make the shifts needed to bring about a higher level of consciousness for ourselves and all humankind.
I believe many Life Connection readers will find this book not only delightful, but immensely informative and useful. The time for shifting our reality is indeed upon us. How nice to have the process all spelled out!

Parallel Mind
The Art of Creativity
By: Aliyah Marr; 2008; 231 pages; $22.50 (pbk); ISBN 978-0-9821059-1-7; www.parallelmindbook.com
How creative are you? About your life, about how you live each moment, how you use your mind and your thoughts to actualize your inner potential? Imagine the known world as a container: How many sides does it have? Are they curved or straight? Do you spend your days busy inside its walls, looking for ways to expand on it, or running around in search of WHAT?
Those questions were mine, not Aliyah’s. Hers are better. In Parallel Mind, she poses a lot of thought provoking questions to move us forward in the art of creative living. Given that we think everything in our world into existence, she reasons, why not do so with flair? Most of us, she offers, have forgotten that we are all master magicians and abandoned responsibility for our development as individuals—and given up on the joy that comes with evolving in harmony with our unique nature.
Do you count yourself in that number? You have the power to change that. Already consider yourself pretty creative? Good. But you might still learn something.
“An artist is not defined by his work,” she observes, “but by the power of his creative thought.” Then she tells us, “Art is about change, exploration, and about the courage to know yourself.” (Ah, we knew there was a catch!) Art is about passion! (Sounds kinda fun, no?)
The genius of Parallel Mind is that it engages us to explore our own potential and opens us up in a variety of provocative ways to consider how we want to express it. This is enlightened reading, every page packed with new ways of looking at the clay God gave us to work with.
