Past-Life Training by IARRT Oct. 11–15
IARRT, the International Association for Regression Research & Therapies, Inc., is offering Level 1 and Level 3 courses at the Institute of Thought, in San Diego, CA. from Oct. 11-15.
Dr. Charles Knoll, M.D., who practiced medicine at John Hopkins School Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, stated, “Many of my patients have chronic pain or disabilities from conditions such as spinal cord injury, amputation, multiple sclerosis, stroke or other diagnoses. Using transpersonal skills in regression therapy, I expanded my ability to help my patients see the big picture, as many of them have found themselves in tremendous suffering.”
Dr. Joseph Costa, founder of the Institute of Thought, one of the first schools teaching transpersonal hypnotherapy, further stated, “Transpersonal Hypnotherapy has made it possible to take psychology much further enabling doctors and psychotherapists to expand into Metaphysics, which Carl Jung was attempting to do. It is more far-reaching than clinical hypnosis and gets into areas such as the meanings behind metaphors, dreams, and physical happenings to the body. In transpersonal hypnotherapy are the real issues people are faced with when it comes to the healing of the Mind.”
IARRT Past President and Director of the Better Life Center in Berkeley, CA, Dr. Maggie van Staveren, PhD will be teaching Level 1, a class in hypnotherapy and regression therapy. Dr. van Staveren explained, “Past Life Regression therapy means the entire person is involved––Body, Mind and Spirit. It is the understanding provided by Spirit during the process which causes one to be willing to release negative behavior patterns in oneself set earlier in the current life or a previous life.”
“Clinical hypnosis is like looking for the self in a dark room, it is very hard to find the self,” said Cory Cochiolo, Director for the Institute of Thought and IARRT teacher. “There is a good in the fact that the person is at least looking; however, in Transpersonal Hypnotherapy, the glare from the light is that bright that a person may need to wear shades to see what it is that is shown to them. The soul is lighting the way to healing.” Level 3 teaches additional regression therapy skills including higher-self work, present life triggers, interlife work, the use of color, light and sound, and integrating energy.
IARRT is the first professional organization for regression practitioners founded in 1985 for psychologists, psychiatrists, medical doctors, mental health professionals, social workers, marriage and family therapists, pastoral counselor and hypnotherapists.
The event will be held at the Institute of Thought, 3511 Camino del Rio South #404, San Diego, CA. The cost is $450. More information can be found at the IARRT website, www.iarrt.org. Phone 951-784-1570. Or call the Institute of Thought, 619-516-3999, cory.iot@gmail.com.
Dr. Jane Goodall speaking at Bioneers October 17
Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) and a UN Messenger of Peace, will be a plenary speaker at the 21st annual Bioneers (www.bioneers.org) Conference on Sunday, October 17, at the Marin Center in San Rafael CA.
This year marks a monumental milestone for JGI and Dr. Goodall. Fifty years ago, Goodall, who is today a world-renowned primatologist, conservationist and humanitarian, first set foot on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, in what is now Tanzania’s Gombe National Park. The chimpanzee behavioral research she pioneered there has produced a wealth of scientific discovery, and her vision has expanded into a global mission to empower people to make a difference for all living things.
It is Dr. Goodall’s frequent reminder: “Every individual matters. Every individual has a role to play. Every individual makes a difference.” Her lecture is titled, Gombe and Beyond: The Next 50 Years.
Bioneers, a nonprofit educational organization that highlights breakthrough solutions for restoring people and the planet, will kick off its annual conference in San Rafael October 15-17. Leading social and scientific innovators will gather to present breakthrough solutions inspired by nature and human creativity.
