The sun in Pisces offers reflection on past experience
The sun entered the mutable water sign of Pisces on February 18, ushering in the last days of the winter season. As it travels through this receptive, artistic and sensitive sign, the sun illuminates the completion of a yearlong journey, reflecting the essence of our experience over the past twelve months. The planet that symbolizes our work in the world, Mars, which has been retrograde (apparent backward motion) in Leo since December 20, returns to direct motion on March 10. Lasting approximately twelve weeks, Mars retrograde happens once every two years, and presents us with the periodic need to review and update our work, professional life, or business. During the Mars in Leo review, we metaphorically “clean out the closets” of our business life, either completing existing projects or quitting nonproductive ones. We begin future planning based on information gathered during the review, and with Mars in Leo, the new projects or business direction we begin this month will have some compelling creative elements.
Pisces new moon brings awareness & new paths
On March 15, we have a new moon in Pisces that will bring some fresh perspective, higher awareness, and perhaps significant flashes of intuition to guide us with our creations. Requiring only that we let go of outdated ways of working, old jobs or businesses that are no longer fulfilling, the new path before us become clear. Although a new direction is revealed, additional planetary influences suggest the wisdom of proceeding slowly and carefully to build a strong foundation that is necessary for success. Following our higher guidance or the voice of Spirit within our souls is the most important choice we can make, but we must also use our knowledge, time and personal resources to ensure proper development of our new endeavors.
Planets align to raise our consciousness
A remarkable planetary configuration designed to radically shift our consciousness made its strongest influence mid-February, but continues throughout the month of March to be a powerful catalyst in transforming unwanted patterns and revealing our deepest truth. Astrologers call it a “Finger of God” aspect, relating to its seemingly “preordained” quality. Although every day is full of opportunities, some days are more conducive to beginning or advancing our endeavors. In March, with Mars leaving its retrograde, but only inching forward, one is advised to wait until later in the month to initiate new projects, launch a new product, open a new business, or begin a new job.
The best days to advance new projects are: March 11-16. There is only one good day for a brand new launch: March 17. The following days are good days in which we may expect positive outcomes with existing projects: March 4 & 5; 11-16, and 25-28. The rest of the days in March are best spent visioning, refining and improving, or redefining what is already in motion.
ARIES: Many activities that have apparently been on hold finally get released mid-month. If you have patiently waited for clarity with creative pursuits, major breakthroughs are in store. Spiritual realizations lead you to make different choices, and perhaps open the doorway to an entirely new direction. Give some extra time to nurture your relationships with friends, partners and lovers to heal any past misunderstandings.
TAURUS: Your attitude toward the world around you and particularly the people who make up your close and wider community is undergoing a series of major revelations this month.
